Few things that I love about Sengkang Methodist Preschool is that they offer a STEM-based curriculum, they provide their students a conducive learning environment and they have a diverse set of students. Being exposed to STEM learning in a good environment, which is diverse makes me confident that my son will have a good foundation, especially to this critical learning stage of his life.

Last and most importantly, the school teaches my son Christian values. These values are also practised by their staff in the way they teach the children and communicate with us parents. It is always with utmost respect, concern, and love.

My son had a great time studying and learning at SKMP. It has been an amazing journey.

We chose Sengkang Methodist Preschool for our youngest boy, Lucas because of their excellent programs in developing young minds. Since enrolling 2 years ago, we saw marked improvement in Lucas' enthusiasm in learning - he will ask us to practice writing and drawing with him on his own accord.

On top of that, there was also much emphasis on character building for SKMP's students which we appreciate. Mischievous as a child at his age would be, we could see from his eyes that he understands that his mischief needs correction when we talk to him over matters.

Not forgetting the fun outdoor playtime which Lucas often relates to us on how much he enjoys them. He loves water play and zooming about in his 'car' around SKMP's grounds. 

In totality, we think that SKMP's curriculum makes for a holistic development for a young child, and we are confident that with the passionate Staff and Teachers we had interacted with so far, SKMP will continue to nurture young minds and build their character to the fullest.

My son, Ethan, had problems going to preschool. We tried various methods coaxing him and rewarding him but it was very hard to make him attend preschool. We observed and realised that it was due to the lack of attention that he was given in school. So we transferred him to Sengkang Methodist Preschool. We were skeptical at first but we were soon proven wrong. In SKMP, he was given ample attention by the teachers and well taken care of. The teachers are caring, approachable and attentive. The teacher to student ratio is just right. There are also various activities to keep them interested and involved such as school excursions. Ethan enjoyed himself thoroughly. He goes to school with a smile and comes home with one as well. As parents we are always informed of activities, abilities and behaviour of my child. Both of our sons greatly enjoy their time at SKMP. They have a strong affection for their teachers, and we deeply appreciate the caring and nurturing environment provided by the staff at SKMP.  

Each morning, the teachers warmly welcome the children with smiles on their faces. Even the security guard, Uncle John, is approachable and friendly.

Our younger son, Isaiah, took some time to adjust to the school environment at nursery, but we're grateful for the patience of his teachers, who eventually won him over. He now speaks fondly of them.

Our older son, Josiah, is particularly enthusiastic about the Extended Curriculum Programme. He eagerly shares what he learns with over dinner every night. We are pleased that learning is both enjoyable and engaging for the children.

A brief sharing about preschools with our neighbours brought us to Sengkang Methodist Preschool. Their children were attending the school then with love and enthusiasm. We are glad that we made the right decision to entrust our child with the school.

My daughter has just finished her nursery in SKMP. She had a great time during the two years of her nursery.
