At Methodist Preschool, Character development based on Christian values is a strong emphasis embedded in our curriculum. Our students put values learnt into meaningful action by donating their old school uniforms to less privileged children in Nepal through the Peace Child Ministry whose motto is ‘To Help To Hope’.
Besides helping to pack the donated uniforms for delivery, children also worked with their parents to make an encouragement card to convey their message of hope and love to the Nepalese children. We are grateful for the valuable support and partnership of parents to inculcate values in our children.
The project also encompassed special curriculum lessons and activities to help our children understand and learn about the love of God and how to reach out to love others, including people beyond Singapore!
