A very big thank you to Principal, Mrs Pauline Chia and her wonderful team of teachers at Faith Methodist Preschool for creating a positive experience for our children's preschool journey.

My oldest child did not enjoy the previous preschool he attended as he found his creativity and love of storytelling stifled in a rigid rote learning environment. When he first transferred to Faith Methodist Preschool, he initially built walls around himself due to his dislike for schooling from the unpleasant experiences in his previous school. After he engaged Mrs Chia and experienced the positive classroom environment in his FMP K1 class, he started to enjoy going to school a lot more and has improved his social and interpersonal skills significantly. It is also a big plus that the school has a structured yet enjoyable curriculum that seems to help him be more P1 ready than many of his peers from other preschools during playdates.

Special shout out to N1 teachers as well, for helping my second child enjoy school and becoming very bonded to his teachers and classmates. The interesting field trips planned by the school every term such as to the Hay Dairies' goat farm or the Singapore Botanic Gardens always leave a deep, positive impression in him. We are satisfied with the broad, yet rigorous curriculum offered by the school and pleased to see him develop a keen interest in music.

We consider it a blessing to have sent all four of our children to this wonderful preschool, which provides a nurturing and educational environment. The care and dedication of the teachers, staff, and Principal have left a lasting impression on our hearts. I still remember how the FMP team displayed remarkable patience while helping my highly sensitive son adjust to his first two years in preschool.

The preschool incorporates Christian values into its curriculum, fostering a strong foundation for our children's character. Our three older children, who have already graduated from the preschool are excelling in their education. I have no doubt that our youngest child, who is still enrolled at FMP currently, will also benefit greatly from the educational foundation provided by the school.

We have 2 children, Emmanuel and Eden who are currently in Faith Methodist Preschool and our 2 oldest children, Samuel and Caelen have graduated from the school. What we love about FMP is the teachers, their patience and care for the children. My child enjoys going to school, and excitedly tells me about what his teachers has shown them in class. Even though we are an English-speaking family, he delights to tell us the Chinese names of certain objects or concepts he has come across in school. I believe this reflects the success of the teachers and the school in creating a positive learning environment for the children. This is also because the teachers have been very kind and nurturing to the children, making them receptive to what is being introduced to them in school.

Odelia, like the rest of the children born in 2019, did not have much opportunities to socialise with peers of the same age. She skipped N1 and joined Faith Preschool in N2. Initially a withdrawn and rather guarded child, we have seen her grow in confidence and now looks forward to the lessons and field trips in school.

This would not have been possible without the positive support of the staff at Faith. The entire FMP team, from the principal to the teachers and admin provided strong support to and engagement with both parent and child. The culture of nurturing is very strong in Faith and one can really feel the genuine care from the team.

Faith also has a large school compound and a wonderfully large playground. The well-ventilated canteen and the individual classes (in some other schools, classes are separated by partitions) help minimise the spread of germs.
