English Speech & Drama Enrichment Programme

@ Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool

Participation in Speech and Drama is an excellent way to instil the 21st century learning skills. The enrichment seeks to develop core competencies of Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical Thinking in preschoolers. Speech and Drama also help to boost a child’s self-esteem and confidence, which are essential skills needed in their future endeavours.

Lessons are conducted by qualified and dedicated teachers from Merino’s Kingdom.

Programme Objectives

  • Develop cooperation and collaboration skills through drama activities.

  • Nourish imagination and creativity through imaginative plays and journeys.

  • Develop language and communication abilities through poem recitals, role plays and discussions.

  • Develop and improve listening skills through story time and drama games.

  • Increase confidence through participation in dramatization and poem presentation

 

Merino’s Kingdom has a team of qualified and dedicated Speech and Drama teachers with certifications from recognized Speech and Drama institutions that are accredited by London Teacher Training College (TTC, UK). With their years of experience and knowledge, they will be able to effectively teach children proper speech and acting technique and styles.
