Innovative Education Technology
Creative integration of innovative education technology within our curriculum enhances both teaching and learning processes. The use of smart interactive technology effectively stimulates, engages and challenges our preschoolers to maximise the effectiveness and fun of learning. Our students’ digital competence is also developed in the process as we future-proof them to learn, work and live in an increasingly technology-dependent society into the 21st century.
Methodist Preschool is a proud Winner of the Gartner 2022 Eye on Innovation Awards in Education for the use of the LUKA AI Reading Robot to enhance Chinese language learning in our curriculum. The award recognises education institutions for their innovative use of technology to drive best-in-class initiatives.

In addition to over 20,000 English picture books and 70,000 Chinese titles stored in its sizeable cloud storage, Luka has the capability of voice recording, hence read-along sessions featuring a personalised voice can be customized. Best of all, Luka can even play music and sing nursery rhymes for children!

It develops their sequential thinking while encouraging creative problem-solving skills when engaging assigned tasks. Children also learn to reflect and persevere when faced with challenges which are essential mindsets for future-readiness!
